- Kathie was a featured guest on PM Buffalo 7/2/08 to promote the Art on the Riverwalk in Tonawanda. She talked for about 10 minutes, all about the local artists, the wonderful location, and how much fun it is.
- Kathie was selected among all the artists to be featured on the poster for the Bicentennial Art Exhibit and the poster was included in the Bicentennial magazine.
- Kathie was in the June 10th Buffalo News for her First Place finish in the Realistic Watercolor category at the 50th Annual Allentown Outdoor Arts Festival.
- Kathie was also the featured Artist for a filming of “Music is Art – Live” at the UB Center for the Arts. The show will air in the fall of 2006. Her episode airs Nov 12, 10:30 PM on WNLO Channel 23.
- Kathie was in the August 16th Buffalo News for her First Place finish in the Watercolor category at the 38th Annual Lewiston Outdoor Fine Arts Festival.

- Kathie participated in the "Mask Mardi Gras" held during February at the Impact Artists Gallery, culminating with an auction on February 24. It was a great success and was covered by the Channel 4 News Team.
