 © 2008 Kathleen E. Dworak I discovered this gorgeous bird sitting upon the birdhouse right outside my kitchen window. I took photo after photo of this beautiful bird- never knowing when he would decide to fly away. I was so thrilled to discover my photos did him justice! I contacted the nature writer at the Buffalo News, and he informed me the bird was a Cooper's Hawk- an immature one at that! He's never returned, and I'm so glad I got to see, photograph, and subsequently render him in watercolor. |
