"Purple And Yellow"

We had made a trip to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton, Ontario earlier in spring that year than we usually went. I had to make sure that we went on a clear, sunny day so I could photograph to my hearts content. With many days of rain predicted, we went ahead of the storms. These purple and yellow beauties practically stood at attention near the entry of the garden. They were so stunning, I knew I had to paint them. I was glad I did, for on all my subsequent trips to the garden, I've never spotted these irises again.   Painting Details:
